Elegant Spanish Guitar MElodies

Antonio Garcia records a combination of his own compositions and some of his favorite pieces for the Spanish guitar on 12 world-class instruments. 

 

The guitars used in this recording are both flamenco & classical, from some of the finest luthiers in Mexico and the world, including Navarro, Escobedo, A. Garcia, B. Huipe, S. Castillo, and also Conde Hermanos from Spain.

This album is a tribute to the art of guitar making just as much as it is for guitar playing. I have a tremendous admiration for the magnificent work of my fellow Mexican artisans!

I also decided to include the same model Paco de Lucia (my greatest inspiration) performed with, made by Conde Hermanos, for my arrangement: 'Malagueña '.
